I get stressed, wake up with a knot in my stomache and then try to summon up the confidence, clever ideas and all the other qualities needed to overcome.... or at least to fake them well enough that I fool myself!... but actually... "think of it - one of you, single-handedly, putting a thousand on the run! Because God is God, your God" simply because God is God, my God! I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by some challenges (that aren’t actually that huge but just sometimes feel it). simply because God is God, my God!

We have to remain vigilant and and love him, be 'in' the world but not 'of' the world. In a current possible looming legal situation for us it would be so tempting to 'do battle' in the worlds terms but this confirms what we know, we have to love God, listen, and then act obediently and trust him to fight the battle for us. We have an inheritance, a wonderful inheritance and a God who is on our side. Not a God that promises things easy, but a God who gives his inheritance….”Because God is God, your God. We have to remain vigilant and and love him, be ‘in’ the world but not ‘of’ the world.
In a current possible looming legal situation for us it would be so tempting to ‘do battle’ in the worlds terms but this confirms what we know, we have to love God, listen, and then act obediently and trust him to fight the battle for us.
