Maybe I should - but my faith is very much focussed on the fact that, to put it bluntly, God created us and loves us and wants the best for us, so it's best to trust him and do as he says. The ones I take to mean that Christianity IS all about performance after all. A severe warning that if I don't behave myself and act properly, I will lose my salvation and go to hell. I feel very condemned by these readings. Can anyone else help me see this from a different angle and willing to post/share their thoughts?
