Absolutely, no-one knows when God's going to return. But as for "look busy cos he might come any minute" - surely all true Christians wouldn't need to worry about when he comes back anyway? And in any case, God knows what we do with all of our lives so even if a few people did get lucky and happened to be doing some charity work when Christ returned, I doubt that'd get them very far if they were nasty the rest of the time.
